How to get to Susafa…

Susafa is located in the Sicilian countryside. It’s a long way to the nearest town, and you have to use a car to get here. We would definitely recommend having your own car. Susafa can arrange pickup from e.g. Palermo Airport, but it is up to 2 hours to drive here from the airport.

After leaving the Auto Strada, on the way to Susafa, the last 20 kilometers will on small roads, partly without asphalt, through magnificent nature. Do not rush! Here you will definitely stop along the road to take in the view of nature!

This part of Sicily is characterized by many semi-finished road projects, and where the roads are closed and you have to take circumferences, map services can take you on wild roads, and on roads that are barely driveable for a passenger car. But such excursions can be exciting, you can experience magnificent nature and sleepy villages you would never have visited otherwise.

Susafa sends a good route description along with booking confirmation, we recommend reading this.
