This beautiful villa and garden is located in the heart of Ravello’s historic centre and is also the place of a famous music scene. The German composer Richard Wagner visited the villa in 1880. Richard Wagner was so enchanted by the view of Villa Rufolo and its beautiful gardens that he was inspired to set up one of his pieces here. And every year Villa Rufolo hosts a Wagner concert here in its gardens.
