PIZZERIA FUEGO
Ordering take away pizza in Italy is rarely a mistake. We had a restaurant right next to the house where we lived, Pizzeria Fuego, and more than one evening we just went down the stairs and picked up pizza, which we had on our terrace, while looking at the life in the port right below us..
At Procida, we wanted to have a down-to-earth feeling, living like this island was our home, so we bought food and ingredients from the grocery stores, and made our meals «at home» in the kitchen. But we also also visited some great restaurants.
LA LAMPARA
This cozy restaurant is located at one of the hotels located by the waterfront, at the port of Corricella. It has a large patio overlooking the idyllic port. We managed to get a table here one night, and we were not disappointed. The food we ordered was classic Italian dishes and the it tasted very well, we also recommend you to taste the local wines they produce in Campania.
A CHIAIULEDD RISTORANTE
One day at Procida we rented electric bikes to discover more of the island. There are many beautiful streets and small squares to discover, but the streets are narrow and there is often narrow space on the roads. We left Marina Coricella and went to the other side of the island, to Marina Chiaiolella. Here we stopped for lunch, and by chance we found Ristorante «A Chiauledd». A small family-run restaurant where we were served classic local dishes. So simple and so good. Bravo!
BLU
This is a lovely little bar in the port of Marina Coricella. Wow! Down in the harbour, this place leaves a mix of traditional if and modern life. In this basement that has been converted into a bar. They serve wonderful drinks and delicious small dishes.
