TRATTORILA LA BETTOLA
This small restaurant is a true traditional trattoria. The food is homemade and there are only a few dishes on the menu. But they don't need any more because the food here is great. Simple and delicious. We ate here a couple times and it is a very cozy little place have dinner and some wine in the evening. This place is equally loved by visitors and the inhabitants of Ibla.
CIACIÒ PANE&VINO
This wine bar is a charming little place where the food is homemade, and the chef, who has a small open kitchen, makes everything while the guests are watching. There are simple, yet high quality dishes on the menu, as well as nice antipasti. And they have plenty of local wines and beers to offer their guests. The place is nice and downscale. The two girls who run the place are very welcoming. They have great knowledge of Sicilian wines and food.
RISTORANTE IL BAROCCO
Located in the heart of Ragusa Ibla, this family-run restaurant offers traditional dishes from the area, and passion is a word they use when describing themselves. They have run their restaurant since 1992. The place is popular with the locals, and this is quickly noticed. All tourists will sit outside under and umbrella to enjoy their meal, while all the locals sit inside in the fresh and air conditioned restaurant. Great food is served by the welcoming staff.
AL GRADINO 284
This place is one of the coolest places you can experience in Ragusa Ibla, or anywhere else for that matter. You are seated outside in the stairs, right next to the church and enjoy the views, food and music played out by the DJ. What a cool experience. You can order small antipasto dishes and the drink is served outside on the stairs. You will get a small wooden wine crate that is used as a table. At this location you can really see Ragusa Ibla in all its splendor when the sun goes down, and the beautiful baroque town shines in the glimpses of days last sunshine, and slowly the village lights up by its electrical lights. Magical moment!
