VILLA MARIA RISTORANTE
Villa Maria is a grand hotel that has a stunning terrace overlooking the Amalfi Coast and the valleys around Ravello. The restaurant on the terrace is beautifully located along the edge of the mountain, with many beautiful trees, where you can sit in shade from the sun. We came back several times for lunch and dinner. The dishes served are of excellent quality. This very nice garden restaurant feels like a secret oasis away from all the people passing by outside the gates.
CARUSO GRILL
Hotel Caruso is part of the luxury hotel chain Belmond Hotels. The beautiful and rustic buildings are perfectly situated on the hillside of Ravello. The property is a sight in itself. We haven’t stayed at the hotel, it’s probably far beyond our travel budget. But dining here we have done, and it was lovely food experience. If you love good food experiences in beautiful surroundings then treat yourselves to a late evening at Caruso Grill.
The wine list is as long as Italy itself, and they have some local wines from tha Campania region that can only be found here. So here you can taste something that is very local and unique.
BABEL WINE BAR DELI & ART
Yes, you read right. This down-to-earth wine bar displays local art and serves simple and good dishes. And the have a nice selection of wines. The bar is super popular for both lunch and dinner. The wine bar is a short walk from the square, Piazza Centrale, in one of the narrow streets leading further to Villa Cimbrone. The bar is small and intimate, and you will also find a few chairs and tables out in the street.
