RISTORANTE DA GELSOMINA
Da Gelsomina is located on the outskirts of Anacapri, and it's a beautiful walk from Anacapri to the restaurant. As we approached the restaurant, a dark sky loomed over Anacapri. We were lucky to get a table inside, and not long after we had sat down, the weather gods showed their anger. Everything here is very laid-back, with a typical Italian feel. Round tables and colors in classic brown with terracotta tiles on the floors. This restaurant is perfect for those who want a little break from the busy streets, because here you can truly soak in the Italian countryside in Anacapri.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves inside while it was windy and pouring rain outside. A glass of wine from their own vineyard quickly turned into a bottle as the thought of going back out didn't seem very appealing, and the food was also very, very good. Homemade Italian food with locally grown vegetables from their own garden is always a win in our book.
LA ZAGARA LEMON GARDEN RESTAURANT…
This restaurant is located in the gardens belonging to Boutique Hotel Casa Mariantonia, where we stayed when we visited the restaurant several times. Here you can enjoy lunch and dinner outside under the lemon trees in their beautiful garden. They make an insanely good lemon ice cream, which may be the best dessert we have ever tasted. The lemons, of course, come from the garden. Locally sourced. They also have a wide selection of Italian wines. Both local, national, as well as international. Everyone we met who works here was super professional, and they provided fantastic service.
The hotel also has a really nice wine bar facing the street. Perfect for a glass of wine while watching all the people passing by before or after dinner.
