We are a married couple who have been together for 30 years, living in Norway. We have always loved to travel, and in recent years we have become more aware of how we like to travel and what we want to experience on our trips. We suddenly spend a lot more time finding the right places to visit. And we love it. We have also discovered to our horror that we like to do some varied things when we are on vacation, which is why we have chosen to call our trips «Litt oppå og litt nedpå». In English this could translate  to «A bit upscale and a bit downscale» when we are on our vacations. We can eat in a upscale restaurant one night, and then a have a slice of Italy the next night. Here is some info about who we are.

I am 49 years old and I work as a hairstylist. I run my own company and have 5 employees. I have been a hairstylist for almost 30 years and I love my profession. My biggest hobby besides this has always been traveling. I love Italy, the simple but delicious good tastes, the nature, the colors, the language and the sea. I love to plan our holidays together with Glenn, and I enjoy visiting a big city as much as I enjoy traveling in the middle of nowhere. 

 

I am not a fan of winter sports, cold climate or snow, so I can quickly get a little grumpy when King Winter announces his arrival. But I quickly get back to my normal self when I start planning a new trip somewhere.

GLENN
I am 52 years old and I work as a waiter. I have been a hobby photographer for many years and I find it fun and inspiring to take pictures of objects and things happening in everyday life. Things that may often just pass by and many wouldn't notice. I really enjoy life and I am more than average interested in coffee, food and wine. In addition I love tomatoes!
